How to Get to and From JFK Airport’s Central Terminal Area

Whether you are flying in or out of New York City, you will need to know how to get to and from the airport’s Central Terminal area. There are various ways to get there, including driving, taking the train, or flying. But which one is the best?

AirTrain JFK

Located in New York, the JFK Airport AirTrain is an elevated people mover. It connects to all the terminals at JFK, as well as Long Island Rail Road and public bus stations. The total route is about 13 Terminal kilometres.

The AirTrain JFK is operated by Bombardier Transportation under a contract with the Port Authority of New York. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The system has a total of nine stations.

All the stations are wheelchair accessible. They are also equipped with ADA compliant elevators. A tactile platform warning surface is also available for the visually impaired. The stations are also equipped with vending machines that accept subway and Long Island Rail Road fares.

The JFK AirTrain has three lines. One is called the Jamaica Station Route. It leaves from the airport and connects with the Long Island Rail Road and the E, J, and Z subway lines.

Another route is the Howard Beach Route. The line leaves from the airport and connects with the A and Z subway lines. The station at Howard Beach is wheelchair accessible.

Long-term parking lots

Whether you’re a long-term traveler or a short-term one, JFK Airport has plenty of long-term parking lots for you to choose from. You can even use a discount to save some money. There are also some short-term parking lots for you to choose from, too. You can park your car at the airport for as little as $24 per day.

Short-term parking lots are located across from the airport terminals and are free for the first 30 minutes. After that, you’ll pay $6 per hour.

You can also find a number of free cell phone lots at the airport. These are located near the terminals and are convenient for passengers who want to make a call or check their flight status. You’ll find these lots on both the main airport entrances, as well as off the Van Wyck Expressway.

Long-term parking at the airport can be a little pricey, but you can save money if you’re willing to look for discounts. Depending on the length of your stay, you can save anywhere from $35 to $39 per day.

Hotel Ninety Five JFK Airport hotel

Located in the Queens neighborhood of New York, the Hotel Ninety Five JFK Airport hotel is near the airport, Arthur Ashe Stadium, Flushing Meadows Corona Park, and Queens Botanical Garden. The property features free Wi-Fi Internet access and breakfast.

The Hotel Ninety Five is an eco-friendly property. It offers free parking for guests. Rooms are spacious and soundproofed. They are decorated in modern decor. They come with a separate toilet, tub, and flat-screen TV with satellite channels. They also include a hair dryer, coffee maker, and iron. The Hotel Ninety Five offers 24-hour room service.

The Hotel Ninety Five JFK Airport is close to the Queens Botanical Garden, Arthur Ashe Stadium, and Citi Field. It is also close to the LaGuardia Airport. Guests have access to the beach for free.

The hotel is located next to Jamaica Station, which offers MTA NYC Transit subways and LIRR trains. It also connects to AirTran JFK. Guests can get to Manhattan in 60 to 90 minutes via the AirTrain and Subway.

Aeropuerto JFK

Located in Jamaica, Queens, New York, the Aeropuerto JFK is the sixth busiest airport in the U.S. The airport is the hub of American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and JetBlue. It also offers a wide range of restaurants, shopping, duty free shopping, and newsstands.

The AirTrain is the most convenient way to get around the airport. It is wheelchair accessible, and operates 24 hours a day. It links all of the airport terminals to the city’s public transportation network, which includes the NYC Subway system.

Another option for reaching the airport is the Long Island Railroad. The railroad connects Jamaica Station to Penn Station in Manhattan. It is a 30-minute ride. You can buy tickets at the station or through the MTA’s TrainTime app.

You can also take a cab, Lyft or Uber to JFK. These services are available from the airport, or you can hail a ride from an outside terminal. However, you should not accept an offer from a bogus driver, as he may not be licensed.
